Würzburg October 2018
From November 12 to 15, 2018, the audience heard German, Italian, Spanish and English in the school yard and in the buildings of Klara-Oppenheimer-Schule. One wonders why…
Ten students each from Merano and Valdepenas were guests at the Academy for Nutrition and Supply Management to cook together. The first task was to draw up cost plans, buy regional, seasonal, slow-food food and research recipes. And all this in English!
In small groups, after a short warm-up phase, this was not as difficult as expected. Find out what the students experienced in detail here.
Merano (Italy) January 2019
On 28 January 2019, a 12-member Spanish and a 12-member German delegation travelled to Merano to prepare a culinary day of open school doors with regional, sustainable food. Not only cooking was in the foreground, but also costs had to be calculated and knowledges about „sustainable nutrition“ had to be deepened.
The goal was to sensitize the participants of the project as well as the visitors of the Open School Doors Day to traditional food production methods, the variety of tastes of regional food and sustainable nutrition.
You can read what the participants experienced during the week here.
Valdepenas (Spain) April 2019
During the third Learning-Teaching-Training-Activity participants work out the differences between conventional and sustainable food production and processing. What exactly happened during the project week can be read here.
