OUR LAST DAY IN VALDEPEÑAS HAD COME – UNFORTUNATELY!
The students continued to work on their assignments from the previous day. They showed great commitment and impressive creativity.
And they needed to be creative – In the so-called „21st Century Classroom“, the students worked together using iPads, computers and various presentation technologies. They were free to move group tables and there were different sitting areas available, which could be used for the various steps of the tasks.
The results were…
- An information brochure about the importance of the Slow Food movement
- A video about sustainable food and protection of regional and traditional food from the regions Trentino / South Tyrol, La Mancha / Spain, and Hohenlohe / Mainfranken
- A datasheet for nutritional and business evaluation, ingredients, allergens, energy content and use of Slow Food menus.
At lunch, students exchanged technical challenges and experiences of the morning. And after that they presented their results to each other.
